Catherine Ann Chmielewski

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Ann Chmielewski, who entered eternal rest, peacefully at her home in Bogota on May 3,2026 at the age of 70. Catherine is survived by her twin sister Mary and her husband Patrick Gould. She is also survived by many loving cousin, nieces, nephews and her loving companion Alex Chin. She was predeceased by her mother Jeanette in 2006. A friend to all, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Catherine dedicated her life to cosmetic contract manufacturing, having worked for Chemaid, Paramount Cosmetics and most recently Precious Cosmetics. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church, Bogota, where she served as a Minister of Hospitality. She was a generous and caring person who was always there for parishioners in need..

The funeral will leave Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, Thursday morning at 9 for the funeral Mass at 9:30 at St. Joseph's RC Church, Bogota. Entombment will follow at Madonna Mausoleum, Ft. Lee. Visiting Wednesday from 4-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph's Food Pantry.
