Dorothy A. Mergel 76 of Bogota passed away June 29, 2020. She is a parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church, Bogota. Beloved wife of Robert Perez. Devoted mother of Sharon Galasso and her husband Marc; Joanne, James and David Mergel and his wife Jodi. Dear sister of Maryanne Wenzler, Barbara Rodriguez, Michael, Joseph and the late Robert Vetack. Also survived by her 4 loving grandchildren Nikki and Danni Mergel and Jillian and Zachary Galasso. The funeral will leave Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, Friday morning at 9 for the funeral Mass at St. Joseph's RC Church at 9:30. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Thursday 4-8pm. Memorial contributions to Holy Name Hospital Cancer Center would be appreciated.
