Patricia R. Maciejunes

Patti Maciejunes, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Patti was a devoted grandmother to her pride and joy Cooper and loved spending time with her two daughters Niki and Alex.

Patti was born on July 25, 1963 to Henry and Lucille Piper. She was the baby of eight children and talked frequently of her crazy childhood surrounded by so many. She graduated high school with the skills to be a baker but pursued international travel instead. After living in Germany and Italy and returning stateside to North Carolina, she returned to her home town of Ridgefield Park and Bogota to raise her daughters. Eventually Patti found her way to Brighten Best Corporation and then Puffin Foundation LTD where she worked for over 30 years. She loved taking trips to Disney with her family, John Wayne movies, Great British Bake-off and playing Uno with her grandson any chance she had.

Patti is survived and missed dearly by her daughters Nicole Paslow and Alexis Maciejunes, her son in law Nicholas Paslow and soon to be son in law Alex Mendez, her grandson and favorite person Cooper, her siblings Louis Roberti, Henry Piper, Rose Piper, Eileen Davis, James Davis, Robert Piper, Kathy Piper, George Piper, Diana Piper, her cherished Aunt Marie Light, special cousins Jennifer, Becky, Anna, and Donnie Light, and best friends Joann Paletto-Theuret and Nancy Waggoner Groth.

She was pre-deceased by her loving mother and father Henry and Lucille Piper and siblings Kathryn Roberti, Michael Piper, Stanley Piper.

Donations on Patti’s behalf can be made to Villa Marie Claire which took excellent care of her and her family in her final days.
