In Loving Memory of Richard J. Gaimo

Richard J. Gaimo 69, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026. He was a devoted husband, beloved family member and cherished friend whose kindness, generosity, and compassion touched the lives of all who knew him.

Richard was a man who dedicated much of his life to helping others through his involvement in community service. He took great joy in supporting those around him and was always there to offer encouragement, celebrate the accomplishments of others, and make people feel valued and special.

Richard had a love of travel and dreamed of visiting all 50 states. He treasured the experiences and memories made along the way and enjoyed sharing those adventures with family and friends.

Above all, Richard will be remembered for his warm heart, selflessness, and unconditional love. He had a special way of making people feel welcome, appreciated, and cared for. His kindness and generosity will remain a lasting part of the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Richard is predeceased by his parents, Francis and Margaret Gaimo, and his siblings, Gerard Gaimo, Gerald Gaimo, Frank Gaimo, and his beloved sister, Margaret Hanke.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Gaimo, and numerous nieces and nephews, who will forever cherish his memory.

Richard's passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph's Church in Bogota, New Jersey. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to the ASPCA, an animal rescue organization of your choice, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
