Richard A. Miller

Richard A. Miller, 72, of Bogota passed away on August 9, 2026 at Hackensack University Medical Center. Beloved husband of Linda Miller (nee Baroni) for over 52 years. Loving father of Brian Miller and his wife Maureen and Stephanie Nacim and her husband Steve. Brother of Patricia Miller. A great joy in Richard’s life was his family, especially his grandchildren; Andrew, Joseph, Sarah, and Matthew, who lovingly called him Papa.

Richard was born in Englewood NJ to the late Theresa Miller (nee Castagna) and Louis Miller.

Richard was a lifelong New York Jets fan, despite many years of heartbreaking seasons.

He was a proud member of Dumont Elks Lodge #2593.

The family will welcome visitors at Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Ave., Bogota on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday August 14, 2026, 11 AM at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Bogota. Internment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
