Robert A. "Bert" Wagner

With deepest sympathy, on July 25th, 2022, Robert Wagner passed away. Robert, affectiona called Bert, was born April 29th,1958. He graduated from Bergen Tech Vocational school in 1978 with a specialty in drafting and design. Bert resided in Fairview until 1979 and then moved Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. Following his passion, Bert volunteered his time to firefighting and being an EMT. He was a member of Fairview Fire Department Tiger Hose and Ridgefield Park Hose 1, the Ridgefield Park Heavy Rescue and the Ridgefield Park Ambulance Corps.

Robert Wagner was predeceased by parents Roger Wagner Sr. and Frances Kesar Wagner. Bert Wagner leaves behind six siblings; Roger Wagner and wife Patricia, Ronald Wagner and wife Kathy, Rodney Wagner and wife Lynn, Regina McClintock and husband Robert, Rebecca Stauffer and husband Robert, and Ross Wagner and wife Marilynn. Beloved friend to Eve and family. He is survived by 13 nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews. Bert leaves behind three huskies he deeply cared for and loved. Bert Wagner is remembered fondly from many people he considered family. He will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Ave, Bogota, NJ 07603. The viewing will be on Friday July 29th from 2 to 8pm. Cremation Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to Ridgefield Park Fire Department, Ridgefield Park Heavy Rescue, or Ridgefield Park Ambulance Corp.
