Roger A. Wagner, Sr. 85 of New Milford, formerly of Ridgefield Park and Fairview passed away January 9, 2018. Before retiring he was a steel worker at Athenia Steel, Clifton and belonged to the AFL-CIO Steel Workers Union of America. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and belonged to Milford, PA American Legion. He was a former Captain of Tiger Hose Co. # 2, Fairview Fire Department and a social member of Hose Co. #1, Ridgefield Park Fire Department. Beloved husband of the late Frances nee Kesar. Devoted father of Roger, Jr and wife the late Deborah; Robert; Ronald and wife Cathy; Rodney and wife Lynn, Regina McClintock and husband Robert; Rebecca Stauffer and husband Robert; Ross and wife Marilynn. Dear Brother of Judy Wagner and the late Janet Bale, Frederick, Walter and Donald. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral service at Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, Tuesday morning at 11. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Visiting Monday 4-8pm.
