Thomas Napolitano, loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend, peacefully left us on Monday, July 7th after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and loved ones at home. Tom was proud of his decades of distinguished service at GPI as a civil engineer, as well as his active involvement in the church, and the local Bogota community. Though his proudest accomplishment by far was being a father to Alexander, Chelsea, Eva, and Anthony, and a grandfather to Sebastian, Joaquin, Enrique, and Santino.
He is remembered by all for his striking charisma, welcoming smile, booming laugh, gregarious personality, and unwavering love for New York sports teams and Bruce Springsteen. His warm and loving spirit was felt by everyone he met and will live on within all of us. As an inspiration and role model to all, he leaves behind a legacy of strength, innumerable achievements, intelligence, humility, and great pride in the beautiful life he built.
In his honor, in addition to or in place of flowers, you may also donate in his name to the American Cancer Society or one of the many other charities he supported as a lifelong philanthropist.
