David R. Loza

David Loza of Bogota, New Jersey left this world peacefully on December 4, 2022, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife Melisa, a doting father to Sofia and Emma. Beloved son of Rafael and Betty Loza.  Adoring brother of Amparo, Jenny, and husband Neil. Devoted Uncle to Michael, Nicholas, Stephanie, Ryan, and a proud daddy of his furry loyal companion, JJ.

David was a graduate of Rutgers University, where he made lifelong friends. He worked for JP Morgan Chase as a software analyst for 10 years where he was respected and loved by his global peers. Besides enjoying time with his family and friends, he enjoyed watching and rooting for his favorite team, the Jets. He had a passion for movies, comic books, and reading classics, along with collecting memorabilia.

David was an incredibly kind, warm-hearted, gentle, and generous human being. Everything he did, he did with an infectious smile. He leaves strong footprints on our hearts and will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace as he enters the gates of heaven, where he belongs. Until we meet again, you will always be with us in spirit and forever remembered. We love you. Rest in Peace.

Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, December 8th from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at Petrik Funeral Home 140 Palisades Ave, Bogota, NJ. Mass will be held at St.Joseph’s Church 115 Fort Lee Road, Bogota, NJ at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sarcoma Foundation of America.
