Kathleen Anne Romba, Esq. passed peacefully on Christmas Day 2022 with the love of her life at her side. 

Kathleen was a longtime resident of Hackensack, NJ, and an alumna of William Paterson College (BS, Music Education, 1973) and Seton Hall University School of Law (JD, 1994). She was nothing less than fearless and settled for nothing less than the best.

An avid musician, educator, and attorney, she committed her life to sharing her gifts by helping others. She and her husband Larry spent most of their 46 years of marriage making beautiful music together in local orchestras, symphonies, operas, and bands where she played flute, piccolo, and later violin.

She is survived by her loving husband, her three children (Elizabeth and her husband Kevin, Michael, and Jennifer and her husband Patrick), her three grandchildren (Isabel, Charles, and Julian), and her siblings (Mary Pat, Maureen, Susan and her husband Patrick, and Bob and his wife LeeAnne).

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you donate to your favorite local music program. Kathleen was a member of several music programs, including the North Jersey Symphony Orchestra (www.northjerseysymphony.com -- for donations please contact Brenda Kaplan at brendakaplanphd@gmail.com).

The family has chosen to honor her life privately at this time and will host a celebration of life with those who knew and loved her at a later date in 2023. In the interim, the family welcomes friends and loved ones to share their memories of Kathleen here.
